Duronet (Difluprednate Ophthalmic Emulsion) 0.05% is a sterile, topical, anti-inflammatory corticosteroids for ophthalmic use.
Indication and Usage
Duronet is topical corticosteroids that is indicated for the treatment of inflammation and pain associated with ocular surgery and the treatment of endogenous anterior uveitis.
Dosage and Administration
One drop in affected eye 4 times a day for 24 hours after surgery continuing throughout the first 2 weeks of the postoperative periods, followed by 2 times daily for a week and then taper based on the response.
For endogenous anterior uveitis instill one drop I affected eye 4 times a daily for 2 weeks followed by tapering as clinically indicated or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in most active viral diseases of the cornea and conjunctiva including epithelial herpes simplex keratitis (Dendritic Keratits), Vaccina, and Varicella and also in Mycobacterium infection of the eye and fungal disease of the ocular structure.
Warnings and Precautions
Difluprenate is contraindicated in patients with Glaucoma, Cataract, bacterial infection, viral infection and fungal infection.

Store in cool dark place. Keep out of the reach of children.
