| Description |
| Lubrilac can be called as a simple empirical non specific, non toxic and yet effective approach to many ocular conditions which may or may not be treated at all by other therapeutic ingredients It soothes moisturizes and protects the irritated dry eye and stands out in the whole gamut of ocular specialities as an exclusive product for an Ophthalmologist in treating the patients day and night and that too for prolonged periods. It works by slowing evaporation of the tear film. Thus, it breaks the vicious cycle in which dry eye leads to blepharitis which leads to dry eye.It prevents frictional damage to the ocular surfaces secondary to lid movement or extra ocular movements. It also acts by retaining fluid and maintaining hydration of the ocular surface. |

| Indications |
| For the temporary relief of burning, irritation, discomfort due to the dryness of the eye or due to expose to wind or sun. It is also useful as a protectant against further irritation or itching discomfort. |

| Dosage |
| Pull down the lower lid of the affected eye and apply a small amount (one- forth inch) of ointment to the inside of the eye lid. |

| Warnings |
| To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Replace cap after using. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye, or if the conditions worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children. Contact lenses should not be worn during instillation of the drug. After instillation there should be an interval of at least 30 minutes before reinsertion. |
