| Description |
| Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial inhibits DNA gyrase which is responsible for the replication of bacteria. |

| Indications |
| Oflo Eye Drops is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, pre & post operatively. |
|
| Dosage |
In mild to moderate infections: Instil one or two drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 hours. In severe infections: Instil 2 drops into the eye(s) hourly until improvement is obtained following which treatment should be reduced. |

| Contraindications |
| Oflo is Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drugs. |
|
| Special Precautions |
| As with any anti infective proloned use may result in overgrowth of non susceptible bacteria, including fungi. If super infection occurs and clinical improvement is not noticed in 7 days, the use of oflo must be discontinued and appropriate alternative therapy initiated. |

| Nursing Mothers |
| It is not known whether oflo is excreted in human milk following topical administration, because of the potential of serious adverse reactions from oflo in nursing infants, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother. |

| Adverse Effects |
| Transient ocular burning or discomfort, stinging , redness may occur. |
