Indications |
An Anaesthesia of choice in variety of ocular procedure like cataract extraction, iridectomies . Secondary I0L procedure and other combined procedures. |

Contraindications |
Should not be used in complicated cataract/glaucoma case. Not indicated in patients with whom surgeon cannot communicate. This technique is not to be used in paedriatic cases. |

Procedure, Dosage |
Initially to use an eye drop like topical anaesthetic Paracain (Proparacain HCL) before the incision and then proceed with using 0.5ml 1% OCULAN ampoules. |

Caution |
To be administered after a test dose with adequate precaution to cope with any adverse reaction. |

Store in a cool dry place. Protect from light. |
