Description
Tobramycin is a aminoglycoside antibiotic used to treat ocular infection by inhibiting the protein synthesis of the bacteria & Betamethasone is a topical steroid used to treat ocular inflammation by inhibiting the inflammatory mediators
Indications
Nebracin  BM  is indicated to treat ocular infection & inflammation.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is one to two drops3- 4 times a day in the affected eye or as directed by the physician.
Contraindications
Nebracin BM is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components.
Precautions
Pregnanacy
Nebracin BM should be used during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

Nursing Mothers 
Systemic absorption of Nebracin BM may occur when applied topically. Because of the potential for serious, adverse reactions in nursing infants from Nebracin BM, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.

Geriatric Use
No overall difference in safety or effectiveness have been observed between elderly and younger, adult patients.

Adverse Effects
The most frequently reported drug related adverse reaction was local burning or discomfort.
